Course Description
Overture Orchestra is for students who have been playing the violin, viola, cello or bass for one school year (current 4th graders). Students who would like to try a new or different string instrument are also encouraged to register. Students will study fiddle tunes from various cultures and backgrounds to build technical skills, note and rhythm literacy, and ensemble skills.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
La Orquesta de Obertura
La Orquesta de Obertura es para estudiantes que han estado tocando el violín, viola, violonchelo o contrabajo durante un año escolar (estudiantes de cuarto grado actuales). Los estudiantes estudiarán melodías de violín de diversas culturas y antecedentes para desarrollar habilidades técnicas, literacidad de notas y ritmo, y habilidades de conjunto.
