Course Description

Reading Rockets is an "invite only" course. Students must receive a letter of invite in order to enroll in this course.
Students will be offered daily opportunities to practice balanced literacy skills with some integration of technology literacy skills.
Students will review, refine and extend their vocabulary and phonics skills, develop fluency, increase comprehension, and respond to reading through writing. The focus of the course will be a guided reading approach using Summer Success reading curriculum and a variety of materials at students’ instructional and independent levels.
