Course Description
Course Description: THE LITTLE MERMAID MUSICAL will be performed on July 12th - 14th & 19th - 21st. Students will develop music, dance, and acting skills in rehearsals and performances. Students will also construct the set and learn other technical production skills. This course is offered June 10 - July 21st at Parker High School. “THE LITTLE MERMAID THE MUSICAL” is offered as a Summer School class and is considered an enrichment activity.
Course fees: Janesville School District students or those who live within the Janesville School District boundaries: $85.00.
If you are a non-SDJ student and don’t live in the school district of Janesville boundaries, there is an additional fee of $150.00.
The $85 fee will cover costume rental, make-up, and a t-shirt. Please note that students who are enrolled as Tech Crew will not be charged a fee. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase.
Auditions are open to students, from any school district, currently enrolled in grades 7-11. Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 28th 12:00pm at Parker High School, 3125 Mineral Point Drive, Janesville in the Choir Room #1407. Enter at Door 29 on the west side of the building. If selected to be in the musical, students will need to register and enroll in the School District of Janesville’s Summer School Summer Musical course.
